FAQs

14. Q: When will it be available?

A: It will be after development is complete, standards testing, user testing/focus group review and FDA premarket approval is granted.

15. Q: Who is going to verify that it is safe and meets the needs of users?

A: An independent wheelchair testing organization will test the StairMaster to RESNA/ANSI or ISO standards and assist with FDA premarket approval.

16. Q: I think the improved access of the StairMaster is great and I would like to have it. How can I learn more, influence the design and buy one?

A: Encouragement from potential customers would be helpful to get StairMaster, potential research grant providers and investors to commit funds to develop and produce the wheelchair. Check this site for a survey to show your support, influence the design and enter a drawing for a gift card. Sales of the StairMaster will only be after testing and FDA premarket approval is granted.
